NOTE:
The hole locations are numbered on the side of the H-brackets.
WARNING:
Failure to use correct lifting methods could cause patient fall, injury, or
equipment damage.
14. With the help of another person, do as follows:
a.
Align the ends of the support top with the pre-determined hole
location. If you are to install a flat top without a pad installed,
make sure the side with the Velcro® tape is up (patient side).
NOTE:
You may have to adjust the length of the Allen® Advance Table so that
the columns are at the correct distance apart to fit the support top ( see
"Adjust the length of the Allen® Advance Table" on page 23).
WARNING:
Never remove a cross pin from a support top while a patient is on the
support top. Patient fall or injury could occur.
b.
At each end of the support top,
insert a cross pin into the H-
bracket, through the support top
connector assembly, and through
the other end of the H-bracket.
WARNING:
Do not use the support top without the cross pins installed correctly
through the H-brackets. To do so could cause patient fall, injury, or
equipment damage.
c.
Make sure the drop lock on the end of the cross pin moves to the
side to hold the support top in position.
