Storage and transport

Maintenance checks

If any of these checks fail, repair or replace the part as applicable. If the
repair or replacement does not correct the problem, remove the unit from
service and contact Allen Medical Technical Support (refer to "Service
calls" on page 47).
The unit is clean and has been disinfected.
The unit is not damaged: the welded assemblies are in good condition and
there are no impacts or corrosion.
All attaching hardware is installed and correctly tightened.
All labels are installed and can be read.
The power cord is with the unit, and it is in good condition: the plug
assembly shows no signs of cracking, the plug molding around the blade is
not discolored, and the blade is tight in the molding.
All caregiver controls, along with their indicators, operate correctly; this
includes controls on the Allen® Advance Table and on the pendant.
The motors operate correctly: during articulation, there is no friction,
abnormal noises, or an audible indication of overload.
The battery is in good condition: with the unit unplugged, the pendant
controls operate all Allen® Advance Table articulations; the battery is
charged.
The brakes operate correctly.
The casters are in good condition; they do not have cuts, are not worn, and
have a good amount of tread.
The leakage current is less than 100 μA.
The accessories are in good condition.
Storage and transport
Store the Allen® Advance Table in a safe place that is within the
recommended environmental conditions on page 55. If you have the
optional accessory cart, store the support tops and additional accessories on
the cart.
