Expected life
The expected life of the Allen® Advance Table 10 years of normal use
when correctly maintained. However, certain components have a shorter life
cycle and will need to be replaced. They are listed below:

When correctly maintained, the battery has an expected life of 3
years.
Discard the unti
When the Allen® Advance Table has reached the end of its useful life,
discard it in accordance with local and federal standards. Recycle as much
as possible.
Parts replacement
WARNING:
Only facility-authorized maintenance persons should do these parts
replacement procedures. Otherwise, patient fall, injury, or equipment
damage could occur.
WARNING:
Always wear the applicable personal protective equipment when you
service the unit. Failure to do so could cause injury.
WARNING:
Before you remove and replace electrical components (power cord,
pendant, fuses), make sure to remove power from the Allen® Advance
Table. Failure to do so could cause patient fall, injury, or equipment
damage.
The parts shown below can be replaced by facility-authorized maintenance
persons. If additional parts need to be replaced, contact Allen Medical
Technical Support.
