8.3 The programming module

The programming module is used to program the microcontroller system EasyKit.
Programming module, left: for mounting to the conveyor module,
right: for manual loading or loading by means of a handling system
The module can be loaded manually, by a handling system or by an industrial robot. An additional fixture is
required for automatic loading.
The module can be mounted to a profile plate or a slotted mounting plate. It can be mounted directly to an

MPS conveyor module or, with a separately available mounting kit, to a transfer conveyor.
The module is supplied fully assembled.

The module consists of a control unit
with touch panel, a workpiece guide
with a double-acting loading cylinder, an
alignment unit with a 24 V DC motor and
a programming plug with 6 contact pins
which can be pneumatically positioned.
The control unit (embedded controller)
controls the internal processes of the
module and has interfaces for
communication with a PLC. The
operating mode can be selected and the
current status can also be displayed at
the integrated touch panel.
