9.2 The Weighing module

The Weighing module can weigh MPS workpieces, MPS cartons
as well as other test pieces.
A load cell is installed on a profile column. A weighing surface is
installed on the load cell to hold the workpieces.
The output signals of the load cell are measured and processed
by a measurement amplifier. The signals can be forwarded to
the controller as analog signals.
Since it has an accuracy of 0.2 g the load cell can even detect
the smallest of changes in the weight of a workpiece.
A tare weight can be saved via an external input on the
measurement amplifier.
The amplification of the measurement value can be set using a
potentiometer on the measurement amplifier.
