ASSEMBLING
Place the kitchen machine flat, stable, heat-resistant surface
away from sources of heat or water splashes. When fitting the
bowl and accessories, set the speed selector at "0" and make sure
the kitchen machine is unplugged from the power socket. Pull
the release handle (a2) in the direction of the arrow and put the
mixer head in vertical position. Put the bowl in the bracket on the
kitchen machine. Turn the bowl clockwise until it is firmly attached
to the bowl bracket.
Fit the accessory you want (mixer, dough hook or whisk) on the outlet (a6). Push the accessory
upwards and turn anticlockwise to attach it into its housing.
Add ingredients. Take care not to overfill the bowl. Press the release handle to lower the mixer
head and keep your hand on the mixer head when it is lowered into the bowl, then connect to a
power socket. Fit the splash guard by pressing it firmly on to the mixer head in such a way that
the opening is positioned as shown in the diagram opposite.
Start the appliance by turning the speed selector to the required speed between Min - Max. See
instructions below for which speed to select. Make sure that there are always ingredients in the
bowl before switching on the kitchen machine. Follow the recipe instructions.
DISMANTLING
When you are finished, turn the speed selector to 0 and unplug. Press the release handle and put
the mixer head in a vertical position and remove the accessory. Remove the bowl from the bracket
by turning the bowl anticlockwise, then remove the splash guard.
Clean the parts as described in the section "Cleaning and maintenance".
OVERHEATING
EN
To ensure the long life of your appliance, the kitchen machine is fitted with an overheat safety
device which will activate if the motor gets overheated. If the overheat device operates, switch
off the appliance and unplug. Wait about 30 minutes before switching on the appliance again.
SPEED SELECTION
Plug in the appliance and switch on. We recommend that you always start at the lowest speed
and then increase the speed one step at a time. Put the splash guard on the bowl to avoid
splashing. See the table below as a guide to the recommended speed settings.
