4 .6 Fitting the hatch, ø 250 mm
• Lower the tunnel enough so that the low-
er side of the tunnel is level to the inside
of the hull.
• Mount the 2 assembly blocks provided on
the tunnel.
The assembly blocks should be parallel to
the inside of the hull.
• If it is not possible to lift the tunnel high
enough so that the lower side of the tube
is at the same level as the inside of the
hull, then a recess must be created in the
hatch.
The screws for attaching the hatch to the
tunnel must enter the tunnel at the loca-
tion where the assembly blocks have been
placed.
• Determine in the hatch where the 4 holes
for these screws should be made.
• Drill these holes in the hatch and counter-
sink them so that the heads of the screws
do not extrude.
