Cleaning
e Disconnect the cooler bag from the power supply
before cleaning it each time and after each use.
Storage
e Health hazard!
– Refrigerated goods (food, drinks) may only be
stored in their original packaging or in suitable
containers.
– Please check whether the cooling capacity of
the appliance meets the requirements of the
goods to be cooled.
e The cooler bag is not suitable for transporting
caustic materials or materials containing
solvents.
e Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluid.
e Opening the cooler bag for a longer period of time
can lead to a considerable temperature increase
inside the refrigerator compartment.
e Regularly clean surfaces that may come into
contact with food.
e If the cooler bag is left empty for a long period of
time:
– Disconnect the cooler bag from the power
supply.
– Clean and dry the cooler bag.
– Leave the cooling compartment cover open to
prevent mould growing inside the cooler bag.
Starting up and operation
e Only connect the cooler bag to the on-board
power supply (cigarette lighter) in the vehicle
using the connection cable provided.
e Lay the connection cable so that it is not under
mechanical tension and does not chafe.
e Before starting up the device, ensure that the
power supply line and the plug are dry.
e Do not use electrical appliances inside the cooler
bag.
e Do not place the cooler bag near open flames or
other heat sources (heaters, direct sunlight, gas
ovens etc.).
e Danger of overheating!
– Make sure that the ventilation opening on the
left side of the bag (see Fig. 1, 3) remains free
and is not covered by items such as clothing.
– Also ensure that there is a sufficiently large
clearance to the side so that the air can
circulate unhindered.
Otherwise, the cooler bag will not function
properly and there is a risk of overheating.
e Never immerse the cooler bag in water or leave it
out in the rain.
e Protect the cooler bag and the cable against heat
and moisture.
