Starting up
Health hazard!
CAUTION
Danger to health from products stored at the wrong
temperature.
e Only refrigerate goods in their original packaging
or in suitable containers.
e Please note that the only goods inside the cooler
bag are those that can be cooled using the cooling
capacity of the cooler bag in relation to the
current ambient temperature (see also "Technical
data" on page 21).
Using the cooler bag
e Before starting up your new cooler bag for the
first time, you need to clean it inside and outside
with a damp cloth for hygienic reasons (see also
chapter "Cleaning" on page 21).
Tips
– If possible, choose a location that is protected
from the sun's rays
– Make sure that the ventilation opening on the left
side of the bag (see Fig. 1, 3) is not obstructed.
– Pre-cool your refrigerated goods.
– Allow hot food to cool down first before placing it
in the cooler bag.
– Do not open the cooler bag more often than
necessary.
Use in the vehicle
1. Place the cooler bag on the back seat.
2. Position the cooler bag so that the ventilation
opening on the left side of the cooler bag (see
Fig. 1, 3) is unobstructed and not covered by
items of clothing, for example.
Also ensure that there is a sufficiently large
clearance to the side so that the air can circulate
unhindered.
3. Open both carrying straps of the cooler bag at the
hooked strap slider (see Fig. 4, A and Fig. 1, 4).

4. Fold down the outer pocket (see Fig. 4, B).
5. Pull the safety belt through both carrying straps
and place the waist belt around the cooler bag.
Make sure the safety belt is located under the
cable socket (see Fig. 1, 2) and is not twisted.
Insert the safety belt into the belt lock and check
that the cooler bag is standing firmly and
securely.

6. Close the carrying straps and fold the waist belt
pocket back up.
7. Pull the safety belt tight and check again that the
belt is in the correct position (see point 5).
8. Insert the cooler bag plug into the cooler bag and
the 12-volt plug into the on-board socket
(cigarette lighter).
Note that you may need to switch on the ignition
to supply power to the cooler bag.
The cooling system of the cooler bag will start up.
