HARDWARE OPTIONS - EXTRA LINKS
For adding extra links to GT2 hardware.
WARNING: Adding additional links to the hardware may reduce overall strength.
IMPORTANT! After hardware and pad positioning, make sure that the gear teeth on all link joints are properly aligned
and engaged before final tightening. See the warning in the "Important Safety Information" section in this manual.
Note: Extra links may be added to anywhere between the links (A) through (D) in the hardware assembly (including the swing-away
style). The image below shows installing the extra link between (C) and (D).
1 Using the 4mm hex key, release the bolt (G) from the hardware (or bolt (E) or (F), depending on the desired location of
the extra link.
Suggestion: If possible, keep the spring, washer and bolt (G) within link (C) for easier reassembly.

Line up the extra link (H) with the link (C) and fasten with the bolt (G).

Line up the extra link (H) with the released link (D) and fasten with the bolt ( J). Make sure the spring is included under
the safety washer below the bolt ( J).
