7.2. Replacing the filter
It is recommended that the filter is changed every year to guarantee
optimum operation of your water heater.
A filter state verification alert displays automatically on the screen after a
year (filled filter indicator, see Use chapter).
When replacing the filter, make sure you position it in the correct
direction: a tab on one side of the filter allows easy removal. The indicator
is reset to zero in the INFO menu (see 6.3).
Operating the equipment without a filter causes fouling
in the evaporator and therefore a breakdown.
7.3. Procedure for draining the water heater
1. Disconnect the power supply to the tank.
2. Close the shut-off valve on the cold water inlet and/or the general water supply.
3. Turn on at least one tap (kitchen or bathroom).
4. Open the safety valve on the unit and check the draining of the water heater through the safety unit. Watch out for
risks of burns when draining the hot water.
8. OPERATING ANOMALY
Only qualified personnel should work on the system!
Comply with the safety instructions.
8.1. The water is cold and the compressor is not running
• Check the power supply to the terminal block (tightening of electrical connections).
• If the compressor starts running, wait for several hours for the thermal load to be reached.
8.2. The water is cold or tepid and the compressor is running
• The tank has been emptied entirely of its hot water due to major draw-offs. The thermodynamic system has not yet
had time to reach the thermal load of the tank.
8.3. The hot water flow is insufficient
• Make sure that the pressure has not dropped in the cold water supply ductwork, which, if the check-valve is not closed
properly, would let the hot water into the cold water piping.
8.4. The device is leaking
• The pressure is higher than 7 bar (normal operation of the safety unit).
• The hydraulic connection sealing (cold or hot water) is defective.
• The condensates are not being discharged correctly, the clear pipes are blocked.
