4. COMMISSIONING

To commission the motor, an RTS control point must be programmed.
N.B.: Only one motor can be powered at a time!
N.B.: Do not use the Inis RT/Inis RTS control point for commissioning!
Caution! Due to the construction the motorised product can be positioned beyond the end limits of the
drive when operated manually by crank. Hence, when integrated in a roller shutter, a sufficient mechanical
protection against turning the tube too far beyond the endlimits must be assured. Mechanical protection are
e.g. robust stoppers for the upper end limit and a sufficient quantity
(minimum 5) of rigid links for the lower end limit.

4.1 Programming the RTS control point

- Remove the protective housing.
- Press simultaneously on the white and yellow push-buttons
to operate them.
- Switch on the power supply.
- Simultaneously press the Up/Down buttons on the RTS
control point: the roller shutter/awning moves for a few
seconds and the control point is pre-programmed in the
motor.

4.2 Checking the direction of rotation

- Press the RTS control point «Up» switch:
- If the roller shutter or awning is raised, the direction
of rotation is correct: move onto the section entitled
«Adjusting the end limits».
- If the roller shutter or awning is lowered, the direction of
rotation is incorrect: move onto the next step
- Press the RTS control point STOP/My button until the
motor moves for a few seconds: the direction of rotation
has been modified.
- Press the RTS control point Up button to check the
direction of rotation.

4.3 Adjusting the end limits

4.3.1 Lower end limit
- Lower the roller shutter or awning to the required position
by pressing on the RTS control point «Down» button.
- Release the «Down» button when the roller shutter or
awning reaches the required lowered position.
- If necessary, adjust the position of the roller shutter/awning
with the Up and Down buttons.
- Looking at the motor head end-on:
- If the roller shutter or awning lowers from the right-hand
side of the head, press the yellow button to unlock it: the
lower end limit is set.
- If the roller shutter or awning lowers from the left-hand
side of the head, press the white button to unlock it: the
lower end limit is set.
