Chapter 1: Introduction

Getting started

Steps to get started with the Analysis Vibration Sensor System:
1. Unpack the package — the items in the box include
3563 Analysis Vibration Sensors, 3503 Wireless Gateway(s), and this guide.
2. Create an account — a user account is required to configure, commission and use
the system. Create the account in dedicated web interface (see page 5).
3. Set up assets for the configuration of sensors and gateways — use LIVE-Asset™
Portal, the web-based software to create and manage assets, and to configure
sensors. Use the software to:
 Monitor the condition of assets in different locations
 Receive and evaluate measurement data from the sensor
Use the software online help as a guide during the process of managing assets,
configuration, measurement and evaluation of readings.
4. Commission sensors and gateways — to be able to take measurements using the
sensors and transfer data to the data platform, Accelix™, via the gateway, the user
must commission the sensors and the gateways.
Use the Fluke Connect mobile app to commission the sensors and the gateways
(see page 10 for details).
5. Install sensors and gateways — for a detailed description on installation of
sensors and gateways, see page 19.
6. Evaluate readings — this process takes place on LIVE-Asset™ Portal.
