5.9. Error Messages in the OLED Display
Error messages are displayed directly on the drive unit's OLED display. No pressings are possible as long as a message is displayed.
Tong retaining bolt open
● Press the button (3) directly above the tong retaining bolt (2) and push the tong retaining bolt (2) forward until the bolt (4) snaps in.
Drive unit error
● Have the drive unit inspected/repaired by an authorised REMS customer service workshop.
Button cell almost empty
● Have the button cell for maintaining the real time clock changed by an authorised REMS customer service workshop.
Battery error
● Defective battery. Change battery.
Network port blocked
Release network ports 53 TCP, 123 TCP/UDP and 443 TCP in Firewall.
Error in Wi-Fi login
Wrong Wi-Fi password or wrong SSID entered in the "other SSID" fi eld
Pressure too high when switching on the drive unit
● Press the reset key (12) to reduce the pressure manually.
Battery temperature too low
● Battery temperature too low. Let the battery warm up or change it.
Battery temperature too high/electronics operating temperature too high
● Battery temperature too high. Let the battery cool down or change it.
● Electronics temperature too high. Let the drive unit cool down.
5.10. Sending a Maintenance Message to the Telediagnosis
The user can send a maintenance message from the drive unit to the Cloud if an
Internet connection to the Cloud exists. Authorised REMS customer service work-
shops and REMS technical consultants can open this maintenance message in the
REMS Service Portal for a limited period and support the user remotely to fi nd a
solution.
● Press the right button (22) to show the "Setup"
button again. Then, press the left button several times to show the "Setup
Support"
menu. Press the right button to show the "SUPPORT"
page.

● Press the right button 4 times within 4 s to send the maintenance message.
After sending the maintenance message, the "Setup Support"
displayed again.
● Note down the drive unit serial number and keep it at the ready.
● Contact an authorised REMS customer service workshop or REMS technical
consultant.
