3.0 RULES OF USE
To obtain the best performance from the equipment, carefully
follow what is set out below.
The following maintenance, adjustment, and work preparation
operations must be performed with the tractor off and locked
firmly in position with the key removed from the dashboard
and the seeder positioned on the ground.
3.1 ATTACHMENT TO THE TRACTOR
The seeder may be attached to any tractor fitted out with a three-
point universal hitch.
Use drawbar hitch pins that are suitable with the tractor category
(Fig. 6):
A) DP PRONTA 300/400, GIGANTE 400/500/600;
B) GIGANTE 900.
3.1.1 HOOKING
Hitching the seeder to the equipment is a very dangerous
operation. Be very careful in following the instructions for the
whole operation.
The correct positioning of the tractor/seeder is determined by
placing the unit on a horizontal surface.
At this point, proceed as follows:
1) Hook the lifter bars on the preset pins (1, Fig. 7). Block with
the snap split pins.
2) Block the movement of the parallels of the tractor on the
horizontal plane using the stabilizers provided, so eliminating
the side swaying of the equipment (2, Fig. 8). Check that the
tractor hoisting arms are positioned at the same height from
the ground.
3) The hydraulic pipes must be connected correctly to the tractor
distributors following the instructions on each pipe (Fig. 9).
4) Raise the feet (A, Fig. 10).
5) Check the length of the grain tubes (with the machine
completely hoisted) to avoid bendings and consequently
breaking of the tube, as well as the formation of loops.
Always follow the indications recommended by the
Manufacturer for the transport of the seeder. When transporting
on public roads, use the proper safety pins and release
splitpins to block the folding side frames in place.
