3.5.2 INDEPENDENT SYSTEM
When the characteristics of the tractor are such that they cannot
guarantee the correct working of the blower, it is necessary to
install a self-contained oleo-dynamic system.
Installation characteristics
Oil supply: follow the data in the table in Fig. 38.
Operation description
The multiplier joined to the tractor's power take-off, works a pump
that takes oil from the outside tank to the three-way regulator.
Here, indicated on the manometer, the pressure required for the
motor to work the blower is adjusted (Table 11).
Furthermore, the system is equipped with a safety valve that
allows the blower to continue to rotate from inertia without suffering
breakage or damage, if the circulation were to stop suddenly.
Starting up
With the engine off and the tractor immobilized, connect correctly
the quick-couplings.
Clean and grease the tractor power take-off. (A, Fig. 39).
Connect the multiplier (B) to the machinery power take-off as
shown in Figure 39.
Make sure it is correctly coupled, block the rotation of the multiplier
with the chains supplied (C). Check the multiplier oil level and
top up if necessary (ESSO SAE W80-90). Start the tractor and
run the system at idle for a few minutes, bringing constant
pressure to the entire circuit in order to avoid instability of the
blower. Bring the blower to the number of revs corresponding to
the type of product to be distributed (Table 11).
ATTENTION
When it is not intended to distribute product, but rather to use
only the equipment to which it is applied, disconnect the pump
and the multiplier from the rear power take-off and replace it
in the special attachment.
3.5.3 BLOWER PUMP CONTROL
Seed drills are delivered with pressure based on the machine
width, as according to Table 12.

If you wish to increase the number of revolutions of the fan for
distributing heavier seeds, carefully proceed as follows (Fig. 40):
a) loosen the handwheel (A, Fig. 40);
b) rotate the handwheel (B, Fig. 40) clockwise or anticlockwise
to reduce or increase pressure and adjust the number of
revolutions of the blower accordingly.
c) When the adjustment has been completed, tighten the lock
nut again.
NOTES:
- For the distribution of small seeds, reduce the values in Table
12 by 30%.
- In the first metres of the work, check that the seeds are
being placed correctly in the furrow. If the seeds are being
placed outside the furrow, reduce the rpm of the fan.

USE AND MAINTENANCE

fig. 40
It is strictly forbidden to touch act on the dowel (C, Fig. 40) for
any reason, as this would unset the system and could lead to
the motor or pump breaking.
Remember furthermore that at the successive start-up of the
system, with cold oil and the position of the regulator untouched,
there will be an initial increase in the blower speed which, once
the right working temperature has been reached, will return to
that set.
3.5.4 OIL COOLING
When using a dependent system it is important to check the
Table 12
capacity of the tractor's oil tank and whether the cooling system
is sufficient. If necessary have an oil cooler or a larger tank
installed on the tractor by the dealer: the ratio between the volu-
me of oil in the system and the capacity of the tank should be
approximately 1:2.
- Always keep oils and grease out of reach of children.
- Always read warnings and precautions indicated on the
containers carefully.
- Avoid skin-contact.
- After use wash the equipment thoroughly.
- Treat the used oils and polluting liquids in conformity with the
laws in force.
The Manufacturer declines all responsibility due to negligence
and non-observance of these rules.
