7 OPTIONAL KITS AND ACCESSORIES
7.1 OPTIONAL KITS
The optional kits are hardware resources added to the inverter in the manufacturing process.
7.1.1 RFI Filter
Built-in RFI filter option is available to reduce the conducted disturbance from the inverter to the
main power supply in the high frequency band (>150 kHz). It is necessary to meet the maximum
levels of conducted and radiated emissions of electromagnetic compatibility standards, such
as EN 61800-3. For further details, refer to

ATTENTION!
When inverters with internal RFI filter is used in IT networks (neutral conductor
not grounded or grounded with high resistance, remove grounding screw XE1,
since those kinds of network cause damage to the filter capacitors of the inverter.
7.1.2 Disconnecting Switch
An integrated disconnecting switch is available as an option.
7.1.3 Safety Functions
The inverters with code CFW500...Y2 are used when functional safety is desired. This module is
mounted on top of the inverter, as described in the CFW500-SFY2 safety manual. The following
safety functions are covered by this module according to IEC/EN 61800-5-2:
STO: Safe Torque Off.

SS1-t: Safe Stop 1 Time Controlled.
