Surge protection
The tasks described in this section may only
be carried out by a qualified electrician.
The product is equipped with surge protection (op-
tionally with lightning and surge protection).

The product may only be operated while giving due
consideration to all international and national regu-
lations pertaining to the protection of electrical sys-
tems against surges. Observe the following interna-
tional regulations or the respective national trans-
position:

Lightning and surge protection
ATTENTION
Material damage due to improper installation
If the product is equipped with lightning and surge
protection, the lightning and surge protection must
be connected to the equipotential bonding terminal
with a conductor of at least 16 mm². Otherwise,
lightning current cannot be diverted and will dam-
age the product.
u Connect lightning and surge protection to the
equipotential bonding terminal with a con-
ductor of at least 16 mm².
