6.11.5 Setting Autocharge
The tasks described in this section may only
be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Only valid for the PnC-compatible product variants.
With Autocharge, authorisation takes place auto-
matically by means of a unique vehicle ID (e.g. the
vehicle's MAC address).

n Autocharge is not the same as Plug and
Charge according to ISO 15118, in which
the authorisation takes place by means
of a contract certificate from the eMobil-
ity Service Provider (EMP), which must be
stored in the vehicle.
n Autocharge is not an official or standard-
ised function of the automobile or char-
ging infrastructure manufacturers.
n MENNEKES cannot guarantee that
Autocharge will always function
properly with the vehicles in the list
below. Compatibility with
Autocharge can vary, including de-
pending on the model and software
version of the vehicle. The list results
from various field tests with the lis-
ted vehicles.
n Autocharge is currently of an experi-
mental nature and will be optimised
and improved in the next firmware
versions.
