5. Use
✓ Connect the external power supply to the socket. Power voltage and frequency
must be between 100-240 V and 47-63 Hz.
✓ Remove the sterilisation safety cover from the micromotor.
✓ Turn the unit on by pressing the main ON switch 1. Once on, a welcome screen
indicating the software release version will appear:
✓ The micromotor must be operated intermittently (30 seconds ON, 10 seconds
OFF) to prevent it from overheating.
✓ Connect the contra-angle to the micromotor and keep the Cal button pressed until
the micromotor starts turning to measure the inertia of the contra-angle. Warning:
during calibration, the micromotor varies its speed from the minimum value (1600
rpm to the motor shaft) to the maximum value (12800 rpm to the motor shaft). For
safety reasons, we recommend performing calibration without an endodontic fi le
connected to the contra-angle.
