If the food has not finished cooking, put
the lid 1 back on and let the appliance
continue working.
If the set cooking time has elapsed but the
food is not yet cooked, set the control dial 0
to the desired time again to finish cooking.
Check the water level and top up with water
if necessary.
Refilling with water
WARNING!
Make sure that the water never exceeds the
MAX mark. Otherwise, hot water may spray
out of the steamer during cooking.
Filling up to the MAX mark is enough for
approx. 1 hour of steaming time. If the cooking
time is longer, or if the water level indicator w
falls below the MIN mark, you must add water.
Using a suitable watering vessel, carefully pour
the water over the side filling openings 8 on
the handles of the base 9.
Note: If the water is used up during
operation, the appliance switches off
automatically to prevent overheating.
Disconnect the plug and allow the appliance
to cool down. You can then fill the appliance
with water again and put it into operation.
Stopping operation
WARNING!
The condensation water in the liquid collection
tray 6 is hot. Let it cool down before you
remove it.
After the set cooking time has elapsed, an
acoustic signal sounds and the appliance
switches off automatically. Pull the plug out of
the mains power socket.
If you want to stop the cooking process prema-
turely, switch off the appliance by turning the
control dial 0 to 0 and disconnect the mains
plug.
1) Wait until the steam in the appliance has
evaporated.
2) Remove the steam attachments 5/4/3 with
food.

described in the section Cleaning.
Tips for further use
Boiling eggs
In the bottom of each steam attachment 5/
4/3 there are 6 wells in which 6 eggs can
be placed.
If you use all 3 steam attachments 5/4/3
you can cook up to 18 eggs at once.
Follow the cooking times for eggs to set the
time. Note that the cooking time in the lower
steam attachment 5 is slightly shorter than in
the ones above.
Cooking rice
If you want to cook rice, use the rice bowl 2:
1) Put the rice and the appropriate amount of
water in the rice bowl 2.
2) Place the rice bowl 2 in any steam attach-
ment 5/4/3.
Note: If you use more than one steam
attachment 5/4/3 place the rice bowl 2
in the top one to prevent condensation from
dripping into the rice.
3) Stir the rice occasionally.
Note: You can also use the rice bowl 2 to
heat liquids, e.g. sauces, or to cook fruit.
Preparing dishes with different
cooking times
To prepare different dishes with different cooking
times, place the 3 steam attachments 5/4/3
on top of each other at different times. Keep the
following in mind:
1) Place the food with the longest cooking time in
the lower steam attachment 1 5.
2) Place this steam attachment 1 5 in the steamer,
start the cooking process and let the steamer work.
