art_01 cassette awning installation instructions
Notes
2
Inspect the delivery for any damage sustained in transit right away.
The contents of the shipment must be checked against the delivery
note.
! Important:
The installer must always match the fasteners (not included in delivery
as standard) to the installation substructure present.
! Important:
The pull-out forces for the fasteners must be designed for wind resist-
ance class 1 based on 70 N/m² with regard to the awning fabric area.
Operating information:
An awning provides sun protection – it is not a shield from all forms
of weather.
In the event of wind or storms, it must be retracted. The same applies
to rain and snow. If the awning is equipped with an automatic control
(e.g. wind and sun sensor), this must be switched off over the winter
(risk of freezing up).
Give the user of the awning the accompanying operating instructions
and explain to them in detail all the information on awning use and
safety.
