Installation
1. Wall and ceiling installation
1.10 Mounting bracket covers:
Mount the two covers from below using the supplied fixing screws
(2 pieces M 6 x 20 DIN 7991 A2). It may be advisable to extend the
awning approx. 5 cm for this (see Fig. 12).
If necessary, move nuts
1.11 Horizontal adjustment of the awning arms
If the arms are not horizontal to one another when the awning is re-
tracted, proceed as follows:
Extend awning approx. 2/3 of the awning projection. Remove thread-
ed pin (01) of the incline adjustment with size 4 hex key. Through this
threaded hole, tighten or loosen the second threaded pin (02) in the
rear joint bolt using size 3 hex key until the arms are horizontal (see
Fig. 13, 14).
Note:
- Tighten the threaded pin (02):
to move the arm up
- Loosen the threaded pin (02):
to move the arm down
After setting the arms, screw in the threaded pin (01) again and fix the
setting by firmly tightening it (10 Nm).
Extend and retract the awning and check the setting again.
1.12 Incline adjustment
Fully extend the awning.
Twist the adjusting screw (03) of the incline adjustment using size 10
Allen key until the desired incline has been reached (see Fig. 15).
Horizontally align the drop bar.
Tip:
Lift the arms slightly to make it easier to adjust the incline.
Clockwise rotation
= smaller inclination
Anti-clockwise rotation = larger inclination
Adjustment range of 5° - 45°
Securing the incline adjustment by firmly tightening
the threaded pin (04) using size 3 hex key
(see Fig. 13).
