PRODUCT OPERATION
Seat Sensor, Auto-Open Lid, and Silent Mode
Seat Sensor
The seat sensor is activated at the factory
by default. Press and hold the open seat
button for 3 seconds to deactivate the seat
sensor located in the seat. This allows the
wash and dry functions to operate without
the sensor being engaged. Use caution in
this mode to avoid spraying water outside
the toilet when not seated.
Auto-Open Lid
The lid on this unit is pre-programmed to
auto-open within 3 feet of contact with the
proximity sensor. Press and hold the open
lid button for 3 seconds to deactivate this
feature.
NOTE: The lid can still auto-open using
the open lid or open seat button on
the remote.
Activating / Deactivating Silent Mode
By default, the Sutro will beep to confirm
commands from the remote control and
auxiliary control panel. Press and hold the
seat temperature button for 3 seconds to
activate Silent Mode. The unit will beep
once to confirm the new setting. Press and
hold the seat temperature button again for
3 seconds to deactivate Silent Mode. The
unit will beep twice to confirm the new
setting.
