Replacement of
the peristaltic
pump hose and
of N.R. valve
Replacement of the sediment filter and carbon filters:
Close the water infeed and outfeed valves of the device.
Close the cock on the storage tank.
Remove the device upper protection.
Discharge internal pressure by opening a utility .
Make reference to Fig. 14 below:
Disconnect hoses from the quick couplers on both sides of the sediment filter (B. in
figure) and on carbon filters (A. in figure).
Remove exhausted filters, the quick couplers and screw them into the new filtering
cartridges. N.B.: Wrap the thread with at least 15 layers of Teflon before screwing.
Reposition the filters by paying attention to the water flow direction and reconnect
the hoses to the quick couplers.
Re‐open the water infeed and outfeed valves of the device.
Open the cock on the storage tank.
Switch on the device, pick water from utilities and be sure there is no water leak
through the couplers .
Switch off the device and reposition the upper protection.
N.B.: Exhausted filters must be disposed of as special waste. Disposal codes of filters
are indicated in Tab. 8.1.1 of this manual.
Replacement of the peristaltic pump hose and non‐return valve:
To replace the hose of the peristaltic pump follow instructions below:
Switch off the main body and Biox .
Close the cock on the storage tank.
Discharge the internal pressure by opening a utility.
Remove the bottle containing the chlorine dioxide solution from the Biox
hydraulic component .
Remove the external cover of the Biox hydraulic component.
