104 - EB140 / Operating instructions

The machine table is made from a material with
characteristics that protect the board and make
it easier to slide along the table. These same
material characteristics make the table vulne-
rable to dents and scratches.
Be careful when placing boards on the table to
prevent it from being dented.
6 - When the board activates the lever for microswitch B (Fig.
34), the feeder and profiling machine motors start up.
7 - The feeder transports the board towards the lever for val-
ve C (Fig. 34), and when activated, it advances the edge to
position D (Fig. 34), where it awaits the arrival of the board.
8 - Before the board and the edge meet at position D (Fig. 34),
the board activates the lever for valve E (Fig. 34), and gluing
roller R (Fig. 34) begins to turn, so that when the board meets
the edge at D, both advance at the same speed, permitting a
perfect adhesion between the two.
9 - The board passes between two pressure rollers F (Fig. 34),
which press the edge against the board and finish the edge-
banding.
10 - The board makes contact with end trimmer blade A (Fig.
35), and when it activates the lever for valve B (Fig. 35), it
cuts off the excess front edge of the board.
11 - Copiers B (Fig. 36), belonging to trimmer group A (Fig.
36), adjust themselves to the board, so that the bits remove
any excess material from the top and bottom edges.
