• Never open the doors or protective devices when the
machine is in operation.
• Certain objects, such as bracelets, watches, rings, etc.,
may cause serious accidents. They must be removed.
• Work clothing must be correctly fastened, with no loo-
se parts that might become caught in moving groups.
• Wear work safety shoes specified in the accident pre-
vention regulations.
• Wear safety goggles.
• Wear protective hearing and dust equipment (hea-
dphones, face masks, etc.).

3.2 RESIDUAL RISKS

Even when all these safety guidelines are followed, re-
sidual risks may still exist. The following are the most
common:
• Contact with tools
• Contact with moving parts (belts, pulleys, etc.)
• Expulsion of tool parts
• Hazards related to incorrect tool assembly.
• Reverse bit rotation, caused by an incorrect electrical
connection.
• Dust inhalation when working without a dust collec-
tor.
• Danger of burns caused by contact with the glue.
