5.7 CONTROLLING THE AMOUNT OF GLUE

As this is an area where parts are hot, the use
of appropriate gloves is recommended when
performing any procedure in this area.
This adjustment should only be made once the
glue has reached a minimum temperature of
175° C.
The glue is applied to the board by means of applicator roller
A.
More or less glue should be applied depending on the poro-
sity of the board.
To control the amount of glue necessary, proceed in the fo-
llowing manner:
• Turn knob B counterclockwise to increase the amount of
glue applied to the board.
• Turn knob B clockwise to decrease the amount of glue
applied to the board.
Before beginning work, make sure that there
is enough glue in the tank by lifting cover C,
using knob D.
