The excess edge on the back of the board needs no ad-
justment, since it comes from the factory pre-set to the
correct measurement.

5.2.3 Excess front edge control

The excess edge on the front of the board also leaves the
factory pre-set to approximately 10 mm and needs no
adjustment.

If the excess front edge becomes noticeably shorter, the edge
may be poorly glued at the start of the board.
On the other hand, if the excess is increased by too much, it
may make contact with blade K (Fig. 24.2) on the end trim-
mer, preventing it from cutting off the excess amount.
If it becomes necessary to reset the excess amount to 10 mm,
proceed as follows:
Loosen lock nut E (Fig. 24.1) on cylinder P1 and turn stop-
screw C (Fig. 24.1), removing it from or inserting it into su-
pport D (Fig. 24.1), depending on whether you wish to de-
crease or increase the excess amount, respectively. Attach
lock nut E (Fig. 24.1) once again to finish the adjustment.
