7.3 BLADE REPLACEMENT ON THE END TRIMMER

CAUTION
Protective gloves must be worn when performing this
operation. Eliminate the pressure from the installation by
disconnecting the safety valve and locking it with a pa-
dlock, then setting the main switch to 0 (zero), locking it
with a padlock.
Periodically inspect the sharpness of the blades and counter
blades and if necessary, replace them.

7.3.1 REPLACING THE BLADES

• Open the feeder A (Fig. 47)
• Remove the screws and washers B, using key C (Fig. 48)
• Remove the blade block D (Fig. 49), being careful not to lose
the washers E.
• Replace the blades F, removing the screws (G), using the
service screwdriver H (Fig. 49)

7.3.2 REPLACING THE COUNTER BLADES

• Remove the screws and washers I (Fig. 50), using the service
key J.
• Remove the left K and right L counter blade supports (Fig.
50).
• Remove screws N (Fig. 50), using screwdriver H (Fig. 50) and
replace the left and right counter blades (Ml and Md) (Fig.
50).
