7.8 GLUE REPLACEMENT

Protective gloves must be worn when perfor-
ming this operation to prevent burns.
Over time, the glue deteriorates and loses its adhesive pro-
perties; to completely empty the glue tank and change the
glue, proceed in the following manner:
• Start up the machine until the glue temperature is raised
to its operating temperature. Then insert a piece of wood in
the tank, completely submerging it in the glue (the piece of
wood should only extend 15-20 cm out the rear of the tank).
• Wait for the glue to cool completely and restart the ma-
chine, heating it once again until you are able to remove it
from the tank in one block (recommended temperature for
removal ~ 120° ÷ 130°). The remaining glue on the tank walls
may be easily removed while warm (recommended tempera-
ture ~ 50°).
The glue tank must not be cleaned using metal
tools, as these may damage its anti-stick coa-
ting. Always use wooden scrapers.

7.9 GENERAL LUBRICATION

Gluing unit group
Always perform this operation while the ma-
chine is cool.
