WARNING:
Unreadable and missing warning labels must be replaced immediately.
Do not use the tyre changer if one or more labels are missing.
Do not add any object that could prevent the operator from seeing the labels.
Use the code in this table to order labels you need.
Once the connections described above have been made (See "Installation"), check to
make sure the tyre changer works properly by carrying out the following procedures:
1) Press pedal (1, Fig. L) down to its middle position (see Fig. M1): the table top
(2, Fig. L) should turn clockwise at the low speed; press the pedal all the way down
(see Fig. M1): the table top should turn clockwise at high speed; pull the pedal up
(see Fig. M1): the table top should turn anticlockwise.
NB: if the turning direction is the opposite of what is described here, switch two wires
in the three-wire plug (this should be down by a qualified electrician).
2) Open the bead loosener arm (4, Fig. L) manually and depress the bead loosener
pedal (3, Fig. L): the bead loosener will close.
3) Depress the pedal all the way down (5, Fig. L): the four clamps (6, Fig. L) on
the table top will open. When the pedal is depressed again, the clamps should close.
4) Depress the pedal (7, Fig. L) to bring the horizontal arm (11, Fig. L) to its "non-
working" position.
Depress the pedal again to bring the horizontal arm to its "working" position again.
5) Press the yellow button (Pos. A, Fig. M2) on the handle (9, Fig. L): hexagonal
arm (10, Fig. L) and horizontal arm (11, Fig. L) will be locked in position and, at
the same time, the mount/demount head will be lifted 2 mm off the rim edge (See
Section on tyre removing).
Press the yellow button inside the handle (9, Fig. L) to return to the original position
(Pos. B, Fig. M2) by releasing the swing arm and vertical slide.
6) Check that a drop of oil drops into the lubricator glass cup (12, Fig. L) after every
two or three movements of the footpedals (3 or 5, Fig. L).
Oil feed may be regulated by means of the Lubricator adjusting screw (see Fig. M3).
For GP version:
Activate the inflation pedal (Fig. M4) in position 1: air must flow out of the infla-
tion head;
activate the inflation pedal (Fig. M4) in position 2: a powerful jet of air must flow
out through the holes in the four locking slides.
WARNING!
While performing this test, avoid holding your head above the
table top.
Dirt that may be present on the table top could strike the eyes
of the person working on it.
Take care you do not accidentally press the inflation pedal
during the various operating phases.
