Connect WS configuration settings
Basic serial settings
Basic serial settings include Baud Rate, Data Bits, Parity, Stop Bits, and Flow Control. The basic serial settings must
match the serial settings of the connected device. If you do not know these settings, consult the documentation that
came with your serial device. These serial settings may be documented as 9600 8N1, which means that the device is
using a baud rate of 9600 bits per second, 8 data bits, no parity, and 1 stop bit.

Network services

The Network Services configuration page is a set of common network services that are available for your device, and
the port on which the service is running. You can enable or disable these network services, and the TCP port on which
the network services listen can be changed from the default, with some exceptions. This means that the use of
network services on your device can be restricted to the services your device needs. To improve device security,
disable non-secure services. You can disable services for security reasons so that your device is only running the
services it needs. The following are configurable services for the Connect WS.
