Electromagnetic effects
Connect WS is an electronic device that both emits and absorbs intentional and unintentional electromagnetic
radiation. It is designed and tested to comply with EN/IEC 60601-2. Improper installation not following this user guide
may cause this device to interfere with other electronic devices, including, but not limited to, Medical Electrical (ME)
equipment.
Consideration must also be taken regarding the potential presence of portable or mobile RF communications
equipment that may also impact nearby equipment.
The customer or user needs to make sure that recommendations of other equipment manufacturers are followed
especially concerning accessories, power supplies and cables for any device that is in proximity to the Connect WS or
that is connected to it, otherwise increased emission or reduced immunity may occur.
