damage or injury from crushing. Use extreme
caution when loading and unloading it from
vehicles or trailers.
- Always use certified loading ramps that are 4
times longer than the height of the vehicle's
load body, of adequate width, with a non-slip
surface and of solid construction to support
the machine's weight.
- The machine can also be strapped to a pallet
and loaded using a forklift truck. In this case
the forklift truck must be driven by an
authorised operator.
WARNING: The machine MUST NOT be
lifted using belts, chains or hooks.
- Load the machine with the engine switched
off, without a driver and pushed by an
adequate number of people.
- The machine must be transported in a
horizontal position, with the tank empty, the
f u e l s to p - co c k c l o s e d, a l s o e n s u r i n g
compliance with applicable transpor t
regulations for such machines.
- Strap the machine to the vehicle or trailer
using approved tension straps, ensuring that
it is correctly and securely fastened.
WARNING: The parking brake alone
does not guarantee the stability of the
machine during transport.
- During transport, no-one must remain seated
on the machine.
- Before transporting the machine on public
roads, refer to and adhere to applicable local
highway regulations.
- Do not try to load/unload the machine to/
from the means of transport while the
transport box of the machine contains a load.
- Do not allow anyone to stand in front of the
machine while it is loaded/unloaded to/from
a means of transport.
- Put the gear lever in position F1 to load and
position R1 to unload the machine. Also put
the throttle lever to the "SLOW" position (A,
Fig. 11) to move the machine slowly.
- When getting on or off a ramp, keep the
c r aw l e r s i n t h e ce n te r o f t h e r a m p s
themselves.
- When getting on or off the ramps, do not try
to change direction.
- The center of balance of the machine will
change suddenly passing over the seam
between the ramps and the bed of the
transport vehicle. Be prepared for this sudden
change.
7. MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out maintenance, also
carefully read the engine manual.

7.1 Safety Recommendations

WARNING
- Stop the engine and disconnect the spark
plug cap before any maintenance work.
Always wear safety shoes and protective
gloves.
- Remove any combustible materials from
the work area before doing maintenance.
- Before cleaning or doing maintenance
work, read the relevant instructions. Wear
s u i t a b l e c l o t h i n g a n d wo r k g l ove s
whenever your hands are at risk.
- Never use the machine with worn or
damaged parts. Faulty or worn-out parts
must always be replaced and not repaired.
Only use original spare parts: the use of
non-original and/or incorrectly fitted parts
will compromise the safety of the machine,
may cause accidents or personal injuries
and will relieve the manufacturer of all
obligations or liabilities.
- A l l a d j u s t m e n t s o r m a i n t e n a n c e
operations not described in this manual
must be carried out by an Authorised
Service Centre, which has the necessary
expertise and equipment to ensure that
the work is done correc tly without
affecting the safety of the machine.
Operations performed in unauthorised
centres or by unqualified persons will void
all forms of warranty and all obligations or
l i a b i l i t i e s o f t h e m a n u f a c t u r e r. I n
par ticular, you should contac t your
Authorised Service Centre immediately if
you encounter malfunctions affecting the
brake, the engagement and stopping of
the brake or the drive engagement in
forward or reverse gear.
- The silencer and other parts of the engine
(e.g. cylinder fins, spark plug) become hot
