Always lift installation type ST (submerged in vertical
column pipe without cooling) pumps by the lifting
bracket to make sure the pump is in balance. See
section
7.1 Product

4.1.2 Raising pump to upright position

DANGER
Crushing hazard
Death or serious personal injury
- Make sure that the lifting brackets are tightened
before attempting to lift the pump. Tighten if
necessary.

- Do not stand under or next to the pump when
raising it to upright position in order to avoid
crushing in case the pump overturns.
- Make sure the pump is raised gently into upright
position to avoid the lifting chain slipping off the
crane when the pump is not in balance.
Carelessness during lifting or transportation may cause injury to
persons or damage to the pump.
