For fluctuating pH values, the range is pH 4 to 14.
10.1.1 Flow rate
We advise you to keep a minimum flow velocity to avoid
sedimentation in the pipes. Recommended flow velocities:
in vertical pipes: 2.3 ft/s (0.7 m/s).
in horizontal pipes: 3.3 ft/s (1.0 m/s)

Remedy
Clean the pump.
Interchange two phases to the motor.
Re-establish proper operating conditions.
Repair the pump or contact an authorized workshop, if
necessary.
Pump down the liquid level in the pit. Lift out the pump
and place the pump on the auto coupling again.
Clean the inlet pipe.
Contact an authorized service workshop.
Install the components correctly.
Contact an authorized service workshop.
10.1.2 Ambient temperature
For explosion-proof pumps, the ambient temperature
on the installation site must be in the range from -4 to
FM
+104 °F (-20 to +40 °C).
For non-explosion proof pumps, the ambient temperature may
exceed 104 °F (40 °C) for a short period (maximum 3 minutes).
10.1.3 Liquid temperature
32-104 °F (0-40 °C).
For short periods, maximum 3 minutes, a temperature of up to
140 °F (60 °C) is permissible (non-Ex versions only).
Explosion-proof pumps must never pump liquids of a
FM
temperature higher than 104 °F (40 °C).
10.1.4 Frequency of starts and stops
The pumps are designed for continuous operation or for
intermittent operation. Maximum number of starts per hour is 20.

10.2 Electrical data

10.2.1 Supply voltage
The supply voltage and frequency are marked on the pump
nameplate.
The voltage tolerance at the motor terminals must be within - 10
%/+ 10 % of the rated voltage.
