Using the LCD Monitor
Improved LCD backlight transmission makes the picture extra
bright. In addition, special coating of the LCD's surface diffuses
the light from outside to minimize light reflection, so the picture
has vivid colors and is easy to see.

Slide the [3OPEN] Lever to the left and
simultaneously open the LCD Monitor in the
direction of the arrow approximately 90°.
Closing the LCD Monitor
Turn the LCD Monitor back toward the Movie Camera body until
it locks with a click.
≥Return the LCD Monitor to its vertical position before closing it.
Also, make sure that the Cassette Compartment is securely
closed before closing the LCD Monitor.
≥Opening the LCD Monitor automatically turns the Finder off.
However, when you turn the LCD Monitor so that is faces
forward, the Finder turns on again.
≥When the Movie Camera is very cold when turning it on, the
picture on the LCD Monitor is darker than normally. However,
as it reaches normal temperature, it regains its normal
brightness.
≥To remove fingerprints, wipe the LCD Monitor with a soft cloth.
≥Do not expose the LCD Monitor to direct sunlight. When
sunlight falls onto the LCD Monitor, it may be difficult to view
the picture.
Extremely high precision technology is employed to
produce the LCD Monitor. The result is more than 99.99%
active pixels with a mere 0.01% of the pixels inactive or
always lit. However, this is not a malfunction and does
not affect the recorded picture.

Utilización del monitor de cristal
líquido
Este monitor de cristal líquido tiene una mayor transmisión de la
luz de fondo para que las imágenes se vean más brillantes. Para
reducir los reflejos, tiene un revestimiento especial en la
superficie que dispersa la luz ambiente para que los colores
sean más fuertes y fáciles de ver.

Deslice la palanca [3OPEN] a la izquierda y
abra simultáneamente el monitor de cristal
líquido en el sentido de la flecha, en
aproximadamente 90°.
Cierre del monitor de cristal líquido
Vuelva el monitor de cristal líquido hacia el cuerpo de la
videocámara hasta que se cierre con un chasquido.
¡Vuelva el monitor de cristal líquido a su posición vertical antes
de cerrarlo. También compruebe que el compartimiento del
casete está bien cerrado antes de cerrar el monitor de cristal
líquido.
¡Al abrir el monitor de cristal líquido se apaga automáticamente
el visor. Sin embargo, cuando se gira el monitor de cristal
líquido hacia adelante, se vuelve a encender el visor.
¡Cuando la videocámara esta muy fría en el momento de
conectarla, la imagen en el monitor de cristal líquido se ve más
oscura de lo normal. Cuando alcance su temperatura normal,
volverá a tener el brillo normal.
¡Para limpiar las huellas dactilares, frote el monitor de cristal
líquido con un paño suave.
¡No exponga el monitor de cristal líquido directamente sobre a
los rayos del sol. Cuando los rayos solares inciden
directamente sobre el monitor de cristal líquido, puede no
verse bien la imagen.
El monitor de cristal líquido fue creado con una
tecnología de gran precisión. Tiene pixeles efectivos al
99,99% con sólo un 0,01% de los pixeles inactivos o
permanentemente encendidos. Sin embargo esto no es
un malfuncionamiento y no afecta la imagen grabada.
