Espresso coffee preparation

To obtain a constantly good cof-
fee it is necessary to keep the
portafilters (10 Pic.2) always
attached to the group heads ( 9
Pic. 2) so that they are kept at
the right temperature.
• Remove the desired portafil-
ter and avoid holding hot metal
parts.
• Remove any possible coffee
residues from the filter in the
portafilter.
• Fill the filter with freshly
ground coffee (1 dose for the
single filter, 2 doses for the dou-
ble filter), press the ground cof-
fee firmly with the manual tam-
per, remove any possible coffee
residues from the filter rim and
attach the portafilter back to the
group head.
• Push one of the 4 automatic
dose buttons P1-P2-P4-P5 (Pic.
3) of the group to which the full
filter has been attached.
WARNING
Avoid putting your hands under
the groups when these are ope-
rating.
Do not touch the metal parts of
groups or portafilters to avoid
getting burned.
