Configuration
During configuration the safety evaluation device is
set to the following parameters through a teach-in
process:
number of connected sensors,
actuator/sensors assignment,
automatic or manual reset,
use with or without external device monitoring.
The configuration parameters are stored in the non-
volatile memory of the safety evaluation device.
Each change to the configuration (e.g. replacement
of an actuator) requires a complete teach-in
process. The number of teach-ins is not limited.

Preparing the configuration

Perform the following actions before configuration:
switch off voltage supply U
bridge terminals J1 and J2 with a short-circuit
bridge,
set the hardware configuration with the help of
the DIP switches according to the following table.
