5.1 Safety notes for the electrical
connection
Both safety outputs 13/14 and 23/24 must be
connected to ensure safe operation.
The diagnostic outputs 01...02 and 01...04 for the
doors are not safety outputs.
The cables for the safety-relevant relay outputs
must be layed outside the control cabinet in
accordance with the corresponding control
category (e.g. protected installation, single-
sheath cable with screen, etc.)
With the exception of safety outputs 13/14 and
23/24 all electrical connections must be isolated
from the mains either by safety transformers in
accordance with EN 61558-2-6 which limit the
output voltage in the event of a fault or by equi-
valent measures.
The diagnostic outputs for the doors are short-
circuit-protected but not overload-protected.
Protect safety relay outputs 13/14 and 23/24
externally,
Protect the voltage supply before terminal UB with
a fuse,
For use in accordance with UL requirements, for
all connections use a voltage supply rated as suit-
able "for use in class 2 circuits",
