INTENDED USE

MMI50 different variants are used to handle clear or slightly turbid fluids
with a small containt of soft non abrasive particles.
Its cast SS 316L multistage hydraulic, with open or closed impellers and
its modular design permits to achieve industrial pumping requirements.
Many sealing possibilities are available to ensure proper sealing of acids,
chlorides, alkaline products, solvents, leachate, toxic fluids...
MMI50 are used in every kind of industries, chemical, pharmaceutical,
food and beverage, waste treatment plants ...

OPERATING LIMITS

5.2.2.1 TEMPERATURE
All variants : from -5°C to +120°C (depending on available NPSH)
5.2.2.2 PRESSURE
All variants : PS = 16 bar
5.2.2.3 FLOW RANGE FOR CON TI NUOU S OPERATION
3
Flow > 3 m
/h
When the pump is used in an ATEX atmosphere, it is necessary to
measure the working point and check that bearing bracket surface
temperature remains below permitted temperature. It is user's
responsibility to check that all bearings are lubricated when pump starts.
5.2.2.4 MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE SP EED AND NUMBER OF
STARTS PER HOUR
MAXIMUM SPEED:
3600 RPM
NUMBER OF STARTS PER HOUR :
Wait for pump full stop before starting up the pump again to avoid
damaging the motor and the pump.
Staring frequency depends on motor type. Ask manufacturer if
necessary.
A maximum of 15 starts per hour is recommended. Authorized number
of starts per hour will depend on conditions of site and motor type.
