9.3.7

ASSEMBLY OF MOTOR

Select lifting devices according to the weight of goods to handle.
Motor weight is engraved on its nameplate.
9.3.7.1
ASSEMBLY TYPE TM
Danger from squeeze points. Depending on motor size it may be
necessary to use slings to lift the motor during assembly.
-
Sling the motor using lifting eyes or lifting lugs available on motor
frame.
-
If it was removed : fit half coupling [7211] on motor shaft and
tighten lock screws [7416].
If necessary, install intermediate support ring [8313] under the
motor prior to coupling assembling.
-
Insert coupling rubber pads if necessary.
-
Install motor [8010] on bearing bracket.
Danger from squeeze points. Depending on mating plate size it
may be necessary to use slings to lift the motor / plate prior to assembly.
-
Use screws/bolts [6577C] to fasten motor [8010] on bearing
bracket.
9.3.7.2
ASSEMBY TYPE TH WITH MOT OR FRAME V1
Danger from squeeze points. Depending on motor size it may be
necessary to use slings to lift the motor during assembly.
-
Slide motor shaft in coupling [7222].
-
Fasten motor on the bearing bracket [3142] with screws [6577C]
and nuts [6581C].
9.3.7.3
ASSEMBLY TYPE TH WIT H MOT OR FRAME V18
Danger from squeeze points. Depending on motor size it may be
necessary to use slings to lift the motor during assembly.
-
Slide motor shaft in coupling [7010].
-
Fasten motor on the bearing bracket [3142] with screws [6577C].
9.3.7.4
ASSEMBLY TYPES CS & EM
-
Slide the half coupling [7212] onto the motor shaft.
-
Press the key into the pump shaft [2100].
-
Slide the half coupling [7222] on pump shaft.
If the motor was replaced, it is necessary to drill locking holes in
motor shaft.
