2.- Selecting your ideal Heart Rate
(HR) training zone:
Once you know your maximum heart
rate, you can use this to establish your
ideal Heart Rate (HR) training zone,
based on your fitness targets.
Recent studies have shown that:
A.- You can lose weight at 60-70% of
your maximum Heart Rate (HR).
A.- Aerobic fitness will improve at 70-
80% of your maximum Heart Rate
(HR).
C.- Athletic performance will improve
at 80% or more of your maximum
Heart Rate (HR).
3.- Calculate your optimum heart
rate:
Using the above percentages, you can
calculate your optimum heart rate for
your specific objectives.
Eg: A 30 year old person can:
1.-
Maximise
maintaining beats per minute (BPM) at
~123 while exercising.
190 Maximum heart rate
65%.
190x0.65=123.5 BPM.
2.-
Maximise
maintaining beats per minute (BPM) at
~142 while exercising.
190 Maximum heart rate
75%.
190x0.75=142.5 BPM.
Remember to consult your doctor or
health care professional to create a
well planned exercise program that is
adapted to your health needs.

- Make sure that the mains supply
voltage is suitable for the machine
before plugging it in.
The supply voltage should be 220 V
and the wall socket outlet must match
the plug on the machine. Do not use
any type of adapter.

always unplug the unit immediately
after use and before attempting to
clean it.
- Never leave the unit unattended
when it is plugged in. Unplug it after
use.
- Do not allow children or the disabled
to use the appliance without the strict
supervision of a qualified person.
- Never use accessories that are not
recommended by the manufacturer.

cable becomes damaged or worn.
- Keep the mains cable away from hot

the liquid cristal display. Similarly, do
not expose it to water or knocks.

cable is connected.
Problem: The display does not come
on or the displayed segments are very
weak.

plugged in.
