that the general disposition of the work situation reduces the fall risk, the drop height and the pendulum movement in the case of a fall.that
the general disposition of the work situation reduces the fall risk, the drop height and the pendulum movement in the case of a fall.If
dropped, the direction of the cable or strap changes and forms an angle on the edge from which the fall occurred. This angle is measured
between the two parts of the cable or strap situated on either side of the edge. Therefore, studying the work situation the fall risk
configuration so that the angle is not less than 90°.To limit this pendulum movement, the work area or the lateral movements must be
limited. They should not exceed 1.50 m on either side of the axis perpendicular to the edge (from which the drop can occur) and passing
through the anchor point of the fall arrest device⑰ .If the work situation requires that these limits be exceeded, the individual anchor point
is not the appropriate device. Use a class C or D anchor device according to the standard EN795:1996 (example: a lifeline). To limit this

device according to the standard EN795:1996 (example: a lifeline). This manual must be translated (according to regulations) by the
dealer, in the language of the country where the equipment is used. This manual must be read and understood by the user before using
the PPE. The test methods described in the standards do not represent actual usage conditions. It is therefore important to study each
work situation and that each user is fully trained in different techniques in order to know the limits of the various devices. The use of this
PPE is restricted to qualified persons properly trained or working under the direct responsibility of a competent superior. The user's safety
depends on the continuing efficacy of the PPE, its strength and the proper understanding of the instructions in this manual. The user is
personally responsible for any use of this PPE which does not comply with the requirements of this manual and in the case of non-
compliance with the security measures applicable to PPE specified by this manual. The use of this PPE is restricted to persons in good
health, certain medical conditions may affect the safety of the user, in case of doubt contact a physician. Adhere strictly to the instructions
for use, verification, maintenance and storage. This lanyard can be an element or connection component in fall arrest personal protection
systems (restraint systems, work positioning systems (EN358), fall arrest systems (EN353-1, EN353-2, EN355, EN360), access by
means of ropes and rescue systems) systems. It can also be an anchorage device (EN795). It is connected to other elements of the
system by connectors (EN362). This product is inseparable from a comprehensive fall protection system (EN363), whose function is to
minimize the risk of body injury from falls. Before any use, refer to the recommendations for use for each component of the system. This
fall arrest device is connected by its handle to the anchor point (EN795). The fastening point (located at the top of the casing) of the fall
arrest device is connected to the anchoring point (EN795) of the structure by a connector (EN362). The end of the strap or cable is
connected to a rear fastening point of a harness (EN361) by a connector (EN362). (The sternal attachment point of a harness will be
used only in exceptional circumstances). To be implemented with the fall arrest device, the connectors (EN362) should have a swivel-
type pivoting function. The fall arrest harness (EN361) is the only body grip to be allowed for use with a fall arrest system. The fall arrest
device is equipped either with a retractable strap or cable. The fall arrest devices can be equipped with elements of different endings
(EN354 swivel) or different connectors (EN362). In these cases, follow the instructions described in their own manual. Certain fall arrest
devices are equipped with a fall indicator function visible on the swivel (see reference table). Some fall arrest devices have special
features (see reference table). - they can be specially designed for intensive use - they can be specially designed for horizontal use See
specific information. OPERATIONS (EXCLUDING REFERENCES AN13006 YY) : When attached to the anchor point above the user,
this fall arrest device allows for large vertical movements and large horizontal movements on a horizontal or inclined plane. During the
user's movement phases, the cable or strap is wound and unwound on a drum. The cable or the strap is constantly held tight by a return
spring. In the case of a fall, a lock blocks the progress of the cable or strap and instantly stops the initiated fall. For fall arrest devices
equipped with the fall indicator function: a red colour appears on the swivel during a fall, or a green color is not more visible. DONNING
AND/ OR ADJUSTMENTS: It is recommended to assign each user a harness. This PPE can only be used by one person at a time. The
fall arrest system will be attached to an anchorage point above the user (minimum resistance: 12 kN (EN795). Unless otherwise indicated,
