4.8 Universal spacing plates

These plates are located at the X-ray port and the mounting surface of the collimator.
Some intermediate spacing plates are placed by the factory depending on the respective
focus used.
Caution! The factory adjustment must not be changed during installation work.

4.9 Temperature switch

The temperature switch is installed at the cathode side of the X-ray tube housing assem-
bly. It is activated by oil temperatures in the X-ray tube housing at about 85 °C.
This temperature switch interrupts the READY state of the system.

4.10 HEW lamp

The lamp is part of accessories. It does not belong to the X-ray tube housing assembly.
This lamp indicates which X-ray tube housing assembly is selected and whether it is ready
for operation.
If required by the respective national regulations, this lamp has to be installed by the local
field service.

4.11 Fan

The fan is part of accessories. It does not belong to the X-ray tube housing assembly.
With fan installed, the max. continuous heat dissipation of the X-ray tube housing assem-
bly can be increased to 350 W.
The fan increases the weight of the X-ray tube housing assembly by 1 kg.
