If a not compatible collimator is used
The alignment ring is mounted when the tube is delivered.
•
Remove the alignment ring and dispose it.
It is not recyclable.
•
Proceed the installation in the common way.

Trunnion ring

See The trunnion ring of the X-ray tube housing holds the X-ray tube housing assembly in two
drawing Z-11 clamp rings. It provides that the X-ray tube housing assembly can rotate around its longitu-
dinal axis. This movement can be blocked by tightening the two clamp rings.
The adjustment of the central beam in longitudinal and transverse direction with respect to
the fixing of the X-ray tube housing assembly must be carried out on the system.
