Caution! When connecting the high voltage cables to the X-ray tube housing assembly, use
the silicone washers supplied and use nothing but silicone paste, even when ex-
changing the X-ray tube housing assembly.
•
Provide the silicone washer with a thin layer of silicone paste.
•
Fit the silicone washer over the pins of the high voltage plug. The connector pins must
be free from silicone paste. When connecting the high voltage cables to the high volt-
age generator, do not use the silicone washers and the rubber ring.
•
Check whether the high voltage plug is clean.
•
If necessary, clean it with alcohol. Do not use anything else like benzine or trichlorethyl-
ene.
•
Fit the high voltage plug. While doing so, observe the position of the nipple.
•
Tighten the coupling ring and secure it.
