• For extended storage, store the S S M M R R T T Pak on the S S M M R R T T charger to trickle charge. The S S M M R R T T charger keeps the
S S M M R R T T Pak charged and ready for use.
• Store the S S M M R R T T Pak at room temperature within the allowable temperature charge range of 43 °F to 88 °F (6 °C to 31 °
C). Charging the S S M M R R T T Pak outside of this recommended temperature range reduces S S M M R R T T Pak life and extends
charge time.
To charge the S S M M R R T T Pak (Figure 26):
1. Insert a clean, dry S S M M R R T T Pak into the S S M M R R T T charger. Make sure that the S S M M R R T T Pak is locked into the S S M M R R T T charger.

• The S S M M R R T T charger LED indicator (B) will flash green while charging (Figure 26). The optimum charge time is two
hours.
• When the S S M M R R T T Pak is charged and ready for use, the S S M M R R T T charger LED indicator (B) turns to solid green.
2. Press the red release button (A) (Figure 26) and slide the S S M M R R T T Pak to release the charged and ready S S M M R R T T Pak from
the S S M M R R T T charger.
The S S M M R R T T charger manages charging regardless of the S S M M R R T T Pak charge state.
