Handling the bread maker incorrectly could cause burns and injuries.
This device can be used by children 8 years of age and older, as well as by persons
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lacking experience and/or
knowledge, if they are being supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of
the device and understand the dangers that may arise.
Keep the device and its power cord away from children younger than 8 years.
Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by children unless
they are 8 years of age or older and are being supervised.
Children must not play with the device.
Keep wrapping and packaging material away from children. There is a choking
hazard.
The bread maker and power cord must never be immersed in water or other
liquids. Risk of electric shock! Do not use your bread maker close to any sources of
moisture, e.g. kitchen sink. No water may get into the electrical parts in the lower
area and the base.
Position the bread maker and base so that there is no risk of liquids spilling onto or
coming into contact with the appliance's power connector.
If the mains power cord of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its after-sales service or customer service in order to avoid
hazards.
The device must not be connected to a timer, a dimming switch or any other
remote control system.
If there is dirt on the surface, e.g. from food, switch the bread maker off and let it
cool down completely before cleaning. Clean the surface with a soft, slightly damp
cloth. If necessary, use a mild and suitable cleaning agent.
Danger from electricity
Do not operate the device with wet hands.
Do not operate the device outdoors.
Only connect the device to a correctly installed and functioning mains outlet with
a voltage that corresponds to the "Technical data".
Ensure that the mains outlet is readily accessible so that you can quickly unplug
the power cord, if necessary.
Do not leave your bread maker operating unattended.
Do not use the device:
− if the bread maker is damaged,
− if the mains power cord or the mains plug are damaged,
− if the bread maker has been dropped.
